Life Jackets for Kids, Inc. "Making Memories Out Of Happy Moments!"

Dear Prospective Donor,

 My name is Ray Hindrichs, a founder of Life Jackets for Kids, Inc., a unique 501C3 nonprofit organization assisting children suffering from cancer and other life-threatening illnesses.

 As a community and business leader you have the means to bring a smile to the face of very ill children, ease the financial and emotional agony these families endure during their child’s often prolonged suffering, and help generate good memories to sustain remaining family members well into the future.  These families need your personal and corporate help.  You have the ability to make miracles happen.

 Currently Life Jackets for Kids assists families whose children are undergoing treatment in southwestern Florida’s pediatric treatment center of Childrens Hospital at Health Park Ft. Myers, Fl.  We work only at the request of licensed social workers serving families’ needs, providing service not available on a timely basis through other public and private sources.

 Our assistance is varied, depending on specific needs identified by the family’s social worker.  It may mean fixing the family car to facilitate hospital trips, providing prepaid cellular telephone service to facilitate the family’s immediate contact with hospitals and doctors, provide emergency rent or mortgage payments to forestall eviction during the child’s treatment, or provide hospital weary parents with a “romantic dinner for two and lodging."

 An estimated 400 children and families annually, from Lee and Collier Counties of Florida require our services. The cost to meet their needs is great.   You can help by providing a corporate grant of $5,000 or greater.  You and your organization can become: a Life Jackets for Kids, Inc., Partner. As a sponsor you will be recognized on our website for a period of one (1) year, unless you choose not to.
